Postcards I Made

These are ATC’s  2.5 inches by 3.5 .  ATC stands for Artist Trading Card.

This is my xray card. On Trading Fabric Postcards we had an X swap. I wanted something different and I had the week before several xrays so I decided to do this card. I just wish I had some glow in the dark paint so I could have painted the fabric. That would have been neat to have the skeleton glow.. I must find some of that paint and keep it here on hand.

For our Y swap on TFPC. I decided to take a fabric yoyo and turn it into a regular yoyo complete with the fabric “Y”.

The background on the card was cut from a very old quilt block that was my mothers. It was hand stitched.

A friend of mine Stephen Vinson is on a weight loss journey. He has lost a tremendous amount of weight and has some more to go but he is going to do it. Stephen encounters “monsters” along the way on his journey. I made him this card because I did not want him to let his monsters get ahead of him in the game. You can see his remarkable story here http://www.whoatemyblog.com/  He is a doll and we all love him.  We are very proud of him. It has not been easy for him and it wont be easy but we have the faith he will succeed.
